Audio sync problem from DP 9.13 to Premier.

I just exported an Audio file from DP where everything was synced to the 1 hour movie I was editing to in DP. Now, when the film maker imports the file I gave back to him, into Premier, it is no longer in sync. This is the first time I've done this for video. Is this a common problem? Is there an easy fix? It seems that it's not just a matter of syncing up one spot and the whole thing syncs up, yikes! Any insight or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I was talking to a buddy with lots of video experience and he seemed to think it could be a problem with different codecs. Exporting the video out as an mp4 could potentially alter where stuff sits on the time line. Does this make sense to anyone? On YouTube there seems to a number of people having audio video sync issues with Premier.

Are both DP and Premier using the exact same SMPTE frame rates?

Turns out it was probably a plugin used during color correction that was causing the problem, my DP audio file was okay. Good to know.
