UltraLite mk3 USB problem

Hello everybody,
I have an issue with UltraLite mk3 and USB connection. Symptoms:
- sometimes it works seamlessly
- sometimes it is not detected by computer
- sometimes it is detected but gives no sound
I can't identify any difference around it when the symptoms change.
I bought it used and was working on FireWire but after I changed computer I needed to connect via USB. Then I observed the problem. I brought it to a friend - not detected. Brought it back home - works good on computer 1. Moved to computer 2 - not detected. Moved back to computer 1 - not detected.
FireWire connection works perfectly all the time.
Connecting/powering-up order doesn't change anything.
Different power supply doesn't change anything (tested on bench ps).
The same problem with macOS and Windows.
I did a continuity check around the USB port and chip and everything is fine so I suppose it's not of mechanical concern.
Any advice will be appreciated
