Studio management software

I just took a job as a studio manager in Boston. We are currently on OS9 running Studio Suite for our invoicing, contacts, ect...

I am dying to at least get our office computer up to OSX. the transition is inevitable, and I want to get started on it. Does anyone use anything that they find better then SS, or even that they enjoy using in OSX.

I am having some problems doing a few things from classic mode, and I' trying to look at some other possibilities.

any help is appreciated.
