opening os9 Performer files from 1995

Need help opening os9 Performer 4.1 files from 1995. (Not Digital Performer)
The goal is to transfer the MIDI data into Pro Tools.

Do you have any working version of DP?
If not, you can download a fully functioning 30 day demo from MOTU and open the old files and then save as MIDI.

I'm an "Old Pro" but I've found transferring just about ANYTHING to any of these "New Pro's" to be just about impossible! They think they already know everything!

Hmmm... after 30 days... is there an upgrade path from Performer to DP? I would think so since there is one from AudioDesk.
