Michael Good posted this morning on his five years with Make Music and the current state of MusicXML. I found it interesting.

DP 9 added MusicXML export. A few other DAWs have it including Logic.
Michael tells me a couple have XML import capability but I've not found it well implemented (yet?) on the ones I have examined. If MOTU gets that right in a future version, I think it would be huge for those of us who like to compose on paper (virtual or otherwise).
