mach 5 in Logic Pro 7

Post by markowen »

Can't get Logic to recognize Mach 5. I've installed the AU update but it still doesn't appear. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

I had the same prob. Here'show I fixed it.
open logic as normal. From the Logic Pro Pulldown menu, go to preferences, and to "Start AU manager" It should prompt you to start the AU Manager and quit Logic ... go ahead. Mach Five will crash the validation (not crash your computer though). however, go ahead and check the box next to Mach Five and hit OK.

Quit out, and restart Logic. If you did everything correctily, Logic will say you are using incompatible Audio Units. Bypass that by clicking okay, and now Mach Five should work just fine.

Email MOTU and they will send you a Beta update that will fix this problem. Good Luck.
