And they even named it Triumph; hopefully after the British motorcyle and not as a self-congratulatory conceit.

I just finished my 3rd and 4th projects in DSP-Q 5 and am loving it. I've no need to look for an alternate. It's well laid out and almost intuitive.

About that almost part... The short guide is almost useless. It tells you what can be done but doesn't say where to find these functions nor how to use them. OK, it's not to hard for an experienced person to figure out, thankfully, but it's a time waster.

Not everything is the same as version 4 so that manual is of limited use. I know, 5 isn't complete and is lacking some of 4's functionality. Still, if we can't have a real User Guide or integrated manual, how about filling in the Short Guide? Hmmmmm....?

:?:

At this point, I've no need for the features that aren't there yet. I've a collection that includes DSP-Q 4,4, TwistedWave, Ozone 8 Advanced...

I understand a manual is underway. There was a post, maybe here, and about getting the update out and then going back to work on the manual.

Good. Rather have updates and bug fixes if given the choice. I experienced two minor hiccups when loading the first pair of audio files but then it was smooth sailing—much, much better than my last project 6 weeks ago.

Looking in the user guide to see that what I wanted was possible and then nothing further ... wasn't fun. I did figure it out eventually and it worked beautifully.

Hello everybody,

yes the manual is almost finished, it is a matter of one or two weeks, I think. I apologise for the inconvenience.

I have also a new version 5.0.10 ready, there are several news. Among the others, it is very much faster at startup and there is a new user-configurable option for drawing the waveform with different shapes, it looks very much better zooming-in high frequency signals.

If you will need assistance, do not hesitate to write to me @ support.

Thank you very very much for your patience,
Stefano

Although I no longer look for alternatives to DSP Quattro or BIAS Peak Pro (long dead), for those who own licenses and have been stymied due to no Catalina support, Triumph's owning entity was bought a couple of days ago by Zynaptiq with a commitment to future development.

That should be good news.

YMMV, but bounce inside DP thru Ozone plugin, then Hofa DDP standalone (no plugs used), have been a great combo, here.
I'm very confident with these.

Some cautious optimism called for. They took over other plugins I used a lot, announced great plans, then did nothing.
