Any MOTUNational users of this vocal/music separation software?
It appears that most of the heavy lifting is cloud-based and the initial separation is good to very good. Then user tweaking to achieve even better results.
I get asked to remove vocals about every other month and it might be good for record copy transcription, too, by removing the lead vocal to better hear the instrumentation behind the vocal.
And the music track remains in stereo since no phase inversion is used.

. By using MIDI guide track you can nail the vocal track even more. Very useful for those bitter moments when you need a PB and you realize you didn't make one at the time of the mix....
