Does Mach Five 3 do reverse playback?

I've never used a computer for music production until I bought a MOTU 112D. I've seen the demos of Mach Five 3, but one thing I haven't seen is the use of reverse playback. Does it actually do it? What I mean is, can I sample a reverb tail, then flip it over so it plays backwards. I also want to want to map that across a keyboard, and trigger playback with my Roland FA-06 synth.

I've used an Eventide Eclipse hardware multi-FX, but it doesn't sound entirely convincing unless used on speech sources. I also have a reverse cymbal sound on my Roland, but its too short and seriously needs stretching. Perhaps the library of MF3 already has such a finished sample?

Yes. There is directional control at controllable speeds. Might be in the IRCAM section.

Ah, thanks. I was trying to find it in Audio Desk 4.0 and couldn't see it.

DP has an audio rev plug.
