How to copy audio volume automation & paste as send volume?

Hello.

I have automated the volume to tame "esses" and Ts and Cs from a singer. However, there´s a section where I´m using a sort of slap delay, but some consonants sound terrible dancing around in the stereo field.

I have the volume automation drawn for these sounds already. Thought it would be nice not do do them again for the sends. How can I paste them (convert them with the same shape) to send volume?

Region / Reassign Continuous Data / check copy and set From / To

Select your volumes (double click on one point and they all become selected).

Under the REGION menu, select REASSIGN CONTINUOUS DATA and choose COPY at the top (unless you just want tome it).

Bottom pane, select EFFECT AUTOMATION.

From that drop down select: INTERNAL SEND LEVEL.

Does that do it?

Perfect! Works like a charm.
I think I had used that command for MIDI years ago... I didn't know DP was so powerful as to do these changes to audio automation as well.

I stumbled across a problem with copying automation. Didn't work with the view filter and then just mark - copy - paste. So I tried the above described method and stumbled upon this error (see screenshot-link), which I do not understand, any help appreciated.

Just tried this on DP 11.22 / OS 13.4 & it didn't work.

Trying to copy Send 2 automation into Send 1. Had "Copy" selected, and source & destination correct.

All that happened was the Send 2 automation got erased.
