Yea, I was going to go for PPS, too, till I remembered. Already having the other extras from another bundle, Loudness Control is the only one I wouldn't have.

I bought that a while back on a sale (I better double check to make sure) and I highly recommend it. Nice sounding 'verb. :)
Yes.

If you haven't updated your Eventide plugs since before 2/22/2017, time to download the latest versions.

Gatey Watey is a lightweight but clever gate plugin. Unlike traditional gates, Gatey Watey lets you choose which frequencies get attenuated when the level drops below the threshold, making for a much more natural sounding gate. It works great for getting rid of drum bleed without cutting off your drums, or de-noising electric guitars without cutting off the sustain. Basically, it’s how all gates should work, but for some reason, they don’t.

Thanks, Basstrup. This really is a very unique gate. Caught the freebie - I'm looking forward to trying this with some different projects I think it will be perfect for!

Man, you and me both! I wasn't going to buy anything this month, and along comes UltraReverb and this!! I've been waiting for ARC System 2 to go on sale, so I'm very glad it was mentioned here - Thanks, emulatorloo! (...and Rick for the quick review, though I was sold a long time ago that it deserved that I give this a try.)

I popped for the ARC System 2 as well. Now I'll find out firsthand if this thing will make a difference. [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

Same here,

If you look under Plugins, there are three more freebies. Panipulator looks particularly interesting for those who mix to different markets.

Further discount if you have an acct at AudioDeluxe. In care price is $39.49.

I have bought too many reverbs in the last couple months, but may have to jump on this.

UPDATE: Just visited Eventide site to register it. Looks like they are putting a plug in on sale every week for the month of May:

May 1-7 Ultraverb
May 8-14 Black Hole
May 15-21 Tverb
May 22-28 2016 Stereo Room

This being the last day for this, perhaps it is too late to post this, but this fellow from Russia gives a terrific overview of the UltraReverb, and is more of a tutorial than a review. Perhaps handy for those who already bought it!

I've used Ultraverb for years. Not always my goto, but certainly the easiest to use of all the verbs I have.

UltraReverb looks and sounds good. But with SparkVerb, BlackHole, Eventide 2016, Valhalla Shimmer, Lexicon LXP, PSP PianoVerb, a couple Waves reverbs, and the excellent MOTU verbs already in my kit, it's hard to justify, even at a great price.

Well, just so everyone knows, I AM seeking help with my reverb-junkie problem. (Hey, I've resisted getting Valhalla stuff just because everybody in the world has it! I fancy myself a boutique reverb junkie, at least.) (Yes, quite the vanity case, I know...)

I fell off the wagon with LiquidSonics' Seventh Heaven. It's on sale for $258 until May 14th. Reverberate 2 owners get it for $193. These guys did an amazing job on this verb.

+1

I also caved, what a great Reverb! This is the best convolution/verb I've ever used.
fwiw Liquidisonics received permission from Bricasti to use their IR's from the M7.
Liquidsonics even on sale aren't "no brainer " bargains but the sound is really amazing! ;-)

A friend over at the Cantabile forum shared this.

Waves has released their Grand Rhapsody piano for a mere $29.

http://www.waves.com/plugins/grand-rhapsody-piano

There is a 7-day demo available, but I can tell you -- this thing is quite beautiful. Bought it after playing the demo for a little over half an hour.

It includes a standalone version. Be aware that it will not load the samples until you have the audio device and MIDI controller selected in its preference settings.

When you get the activation software and "Activate and Install" this, you will still need to download the samples. They come in two flavors - a 6.2-gig "SD" version and a 14.1-gig "HD" version.

http://www.waves.com/downloads/grand-rh ... -libraries

Download the demo and give it a listen. Definitely worth $29!!!

UltraReverb quickly became my first choice for plate reverbs, and nothing has even come close to bumping it from that position, whether for vocals or for individual drums -- although I do still occasionally use Altiverb for plate reverb on brass instruments, saxophones, and flutes.

I use UltraReverb for some other stuff too, but would have to check my notes. Probably atmospheric stuff. This would be in modes other than Plate Reverb.
