Don't know if this is possible...
Coreaudio receives from my interface ( X32Core with firewire card ) and DP receives this to record...no prob with a buffer setting of 1024
Can I *additionally* route input streams into coreaudio to another program with different buffers ?
I.e. AULab that has apTrigga inserted to replace *live* drumsounds ?
I know I had used apTrigga live with a G4 successfully to replace kicks with low latency...
but would like to use it on the same mac that is used for recording - with different buffers -
Soundflower and jack OS X come to my mind...
Thanks for help
and best regards
Klaus

Re: Coreaudio 'splitting'
FWIW. I use ApTrigga on my Mac Pro today with DP8.
Probably not the answer on your question. Might help.

Re: Coreaudio 'splitting'
Thanks for reply Radiogal, apTrigga2 works, I know...
I've set the buffer to 1024 in DP to record and not stress...
But then I would need a very low setting to trigger 'live' at the same time,
thus the question / need for audio stream splitting...
Maybe in 5 years... ?
Best
