Commands (Key Bindings)

Anyone know of or have a PDF of the Default Key Bindings?

Every so often I do a shortcut by habit (from other programs) and I don't know what it does and you can't search the Commands by shortcut or export them as a PDF so I could.

Couldn't find anything online :-p

I have the the Mac ones in rtf, spreadsheet and pdf formats. I think I got them here, somewhere but can't remember where. PM me and I'll attach them to an email for you. I don't know how the windows ones would differ. But maybe that's a simple matter.

You can print the Key Commands. Open the Commands window and select Print Window in the File menu. Use print to PDF or whatever you have that is similar, and you have it.

It is annoying that you can't search a shortcut, but to get around it, I go to a command I know I'll never use, and try to apply the shortcut to it, and I find out immediately whether it is used, and what it is used for.

Thanks Bayswater,

I originally thought of that but the Print Window is greyed out.

In fact it's greyed out for everything except when Quickscibe and Tracks are active in the consolidated window.

It's not greyed out here, at least not when the Commands window is in front. Not sure what might be wrong. Page 22 in the manual covers printing of the Commands window. Do you have a working print driver in place? Does the Page Setup window look right?

Hmmm, I see you're on Mac, could just be a PC glitch (seems to be quite a few of them).

Tried 32 & 64bit versions, same result, as I expected.

Yeah, I have Adobe Masters, so I use PDF print all the time, works fine in other prog's so I doubt that's the problem.

Seeing as you're on Mac, I thought it could be the consolidated window, so I tried to disable it. Seems that checkbox is missing in the Consolidated Window Preferences, as well as the 3 checkboxes starting with "Open Old Documents".

Oh well, not a big deal, just thought it'd be handy.

Thanks

Works for me whether it's in the consolidated window or on it's own, as long at it's in front.

I hope this gets reported to tech support. These windows problems need to be cleared up.
