DP 8 keeps crashing when I edit audios.
I wonder why... Does having interface/not affects the performance?
For now, I don't have an interface.

I need some suggestions on what goes wrong.

Please help,

Vima

Does this happen on all Your work drives? Last time I had that it was because of a faulty drive.

What are you doing exactly when it crashes? Editing is a pretty broad description unless you're saying that any operation on an audio file causes a crash. Computer, memory and storage specs help also. Since you do not have an audio device, are you using Windows Audio or ASIO4ALL in your Hardware Config?

Thank you for replying.

I was doing simple audio editing (cutting, trim, fade) 3 second of music and it crashed.
Hmmm, RAM 8GB, Windows 8.

Ow, I remembered I jumped from Reason to DP a couple of time (without slave mode- so work in reason, quit, go to DP)and my sound driver was not found a couple of time, I wonder if thats the case.
