RECORDING PROBLEM ON TWO DIFFERENT MAC
Posted: Fri Apr 04, 2014 2:55 am
Hello everyone,
Here is a very strange problem that happens to me :
My config:
2 dual core Macbook Pro (2008) 2.4Ghz 4GB DDR2 RAM
Original Motu 828
Logic Pro X
Before buying my own Mac, I wanted to test this config on a friend’s mac to record a dj set: On its own, its sounds perfectly but the one I just bought I have loss quality and dynamic that you can compare these two links:
Set Recorded on the mac on my friend’s mac :
http://soundcloud.com/nick-morisson/nic ... es-of-a-95
Set Recorded on my mac :
http://soundcloud.com/nick-morisson/nic ... es-of-a-97
However, the settings are exactly the same for both recordings and mastering ... my friend’s macbook pro is more recent ( 2012 - 4gb ram ddr3 quad- )
Someone would have an explanation and / or solution to solve this major problem for me ; I’ve just bought this mac only to record my dj set and the result is very bad
Thank you for your help
