popping and clicking noises from Telematic

Running my new MachFive 3 on a iMac and everything sounds great except for the Telematic guitar samples. I get alot of popping and clicking sounds from the samples. Also there is a delay when I press the key sometimes. I have adjusted buffer size and sample rate and it still does it. I'm pretty sure my hard drive is fast enough. Any thoughts?

Please post your system specs. The HD is important, but also the amount of RAM, OS, specific machine (processor speed, year, etc). They all play a role. Additionally, whether or not you are streaming samples and if you have pre-rendering engaged. All these things conspire against or for you.

In short: more information, please.

Welcome to the forum. :unicorn:

Try to grab the updated version on MOTU website of this soundbank if you haven't done it already.

I had the same thing happening until I bumped up my RAM to 24 gigs.

Also, for large instruments like that you want to keep it in once instance of M5 all by itself (assuming he is on a multicore machine where DP can thread).

Sorry about the specs. 2011 iMac with 4gb ram, snow leopard and using a external 2TB seagate HD via fire wire. I did have some success bumping down the resolution from 96K to 44.1K. I do think I will add some extra ram. I plan on downloading the updates also. Everything else plays great. It's only the telematic that I'm having some issues with.
