Merge Soundbytes into One

Post by Aaron Guidry »

I want to take two mono soundbytes on different tracks and merge them into one mono track.

For example, Soundbyte 1 plays the piano right hand measure 1 -8. Soundbyte 2 plays the piano left hand measure 1 -8.

I want to merge them into one mono piano track that contains both the right and left hand, rather than two separated mono tracks.

How do I do that?

Set the FOLDDOWN on the master track to MONO.
However NazRats solution will work too, and is probably even better.

How do I set the folddown to mono?

Every Master fader has a folddown option in the Mixing board.
