M Adio MobilePre USB audio interface/ Audio technica pro

Post by bthompson »

I was looking at both of these products. For now they both are about all I can afford, but there are some other equally affordable options - these seemed the best to me. However, I was wondering if anyone had any reviews or advice on these two products or the makers of these products. Thanks

the mobile pre is sufficient, but if there is any possible way to afford something like the traveler you can avoid kicking yourself later on.

I would go with a condensor instead of a stereo mic and you don't need something so directional. I have two Audio technica 3035's. If you had one of those (199$ but I got mine for 150$)
I think you would be really satisfied. These "low budget" large diaphragm condensors are really sensitive and would do wonderfully with nature sounds and instrument sounds...

good luck
