OT: MIDI questions

Hey guys, i posted this elsewhere but lets be honest, no one reads any other forum but this one.

I have just purchased a MOTIF RACK ES and an M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 as my synth controller and LIVE by Ableton.

long story short, i'm REAL new at MIDI and want to know if anyone has any good dvd or video or book referrals on how to manage and use MIDI, Motif Rack, DP, and/or the Keystation Pro88. I've got so much power at my fingertips but just running into brick walls.
