In the never ending quest to find a single fader controller (since FaderPort and AlphaTrack are not supported in 64bit), I'm wondering about Touch OSC and if it can be set up to do this seemingly simple task of controlling a highlighted fader in DP.

I dont think so. You need two way communication for this to work and as far as I know DP doesnt send that type of message ..like fader 1 selected. At least as far as TouchOSC is concerned.
The DP app might work that way, but im just guessing because I dont use it.
