Pad not playing full sample?

Wonder if anyone has a quick answer for this one. Got a sample that's 19 sec. BPM plays the sample and stops at exactly 10 sec. Can't see an obvious reason for this, though I'm sure I MUST be overlooking something. Anyone? TIA...
