Ethno 1 presets in Ethno 2

I have a Mac Pro 12 core with OSX 10.6.8 and Pro Tools 9.0.5. I have Ethno 2 installed. The "UFS" sound banks are on a "Sample Library" hard drive. I have aliases of the "UFS" files in "startup disk/Library/Application Support/MOTU/Ethno/". Ethno 2 works in stand alone mode and as a plug-in inside Pro Tools. My original sessions with Ethno 1 open up fine but the sound slots are empty and obviously Ethno 2 cannot play anything. Do I need to do anything to make this work. Ethno 2 info says that version 1 presets can be played in Ethno 2. Any thoughts??
