Installing Ethno 2

I have Ethno 1 but I am upgrading to Ethno 2. I'm doing this at the same time as I am making some hardware upgrades (new HD). Can I simply install Ethno 2 from the installer and I'll find that I have everything old PLUS the new stuff. Will I lose anything by just ignoring my old Ethno 1 installation?

You'll have everything old PLUS the new stuff. You can indeed ignore Ethno 1 install.
