Apple AU "Flatten EQ" button

Post by dt1000u »

I finally upgraded to Snow Leopard with nary a problem except...... I like the Apple AU Graphic EQ, and in Snow Leopard, the plug has been modified to a much cooler display. That is except for the fact that when you click on the AU to make adjustments, if you don't remember to click out, the "flatten EQ" button has been automatically highlighted and by hitting the space bar to initiate play in Performer, you'll reset your EQ settings every time. Cruel joke on Apple's part for Performer users, or just a simple oversight? Any suggested workarounds other than not using it? Thanks.

You might try to use the "Enter" key on the numeric keypad to start playback if your Mac keyboard has one. That might be a workaround. :D
