I just got my copy of BPM in the mail from Guitar Center today but seem to be having some issues installing it. I read some reviews that the iLok process was the only thing some didn't like. I'm pretty computer literate so I didn't think I'd have any problems but... So I've installed everything just like the Installation Guide said. Installed all the sound libraries. But when I'm at the iLok website to manage my licenses it keeps saying that I don't have the required software installed on my machine even though I have just downloaded it and installed it from their site. I've when through the install process a second time just to make sure it worked. I've tried rebooting. Nothing seems to work. It just doesn't see my iLok client software... Any ideas?

the ilok in the bpm box is already carrying the license, you do not need to download it.

make sure your ilok is in a usb port, and not on a hub port, this could be an issue on some poorly made and cheap usb hubs.

once you have the ilok in a main port start bpm, if it comes up that it needs to authorise then it is not picking the key up, make sure it is in the computer port securley and try again.

if it is an issue with the pace/ilok drivers you can download the latest versions from the pace site here: http://www.paceap.com/dldrvr.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

download and install.

thats is all there is to it
