I thought before in earlier versions we could drag over a new kit of sounds, while we had a sequence going,and just swap out the kits,but now it deletes my pattern too?

updated: see below, replacing a bank will overwrite sequence..

shouldn't delete your pattern unless you're loading kit+patterns instead of just the kits

ah, I transferred a bunch of kits into banks, and when I tried to drag them over it deletes them, so banks are a no go for me then.. thanks joe that helps a bunch.

sounds like you saved them as banks and not kits? Banks will save everything where kits just save the sounds/settings, so if you're loading them as banks and you had empty patterns for those banks it will do that I think, as it's trying to load the exact state of the bank as you saved it.

Yep thats what I did, I have two sets of my personal libraries, one entirely in banks,and the other in kits w/samples. Banks does overwrite the patterns,thanks for the clue,that helped me out,peace
