velocity for sequence of rack part

Post by davidb63 »

I see I can use the Graphs edit section for Banks, but this isn't avail. for rack sequences. Is there a way to edit velocity or other MIDI information for rack sequences?

No!
Both step and piano roll sequencers are incomplete. You will find what is missing in one in the other.

hmm.. I'm supprised you can't at least adjust velocity after you play a sequence. I always have a note or two that needs a little taming. I wonder if that's something they are looking at adding.

You can adjust the velocity by holding down shift while you click-drag vertically on the sequence notes. You will see the sequence notes get brighter or darker based on the velocity. This is the only visual feedback on velocity - no numerical values.

Thanks, that does the trick. I'm about 1/2 through the manual, but I did poke around for that before posting... I promise! :shake: :rtfmmad:

Sorry, I had forgot about that one.

Still would be nice to have graph view for controller and vel tweaks with automation.
