OTOH those of us who took advantage of this deal, now have until 10 January 2010 (I'm doing this from memory) to buy any other AAS product for $89 (or maybe it was $79).

I may pick up the String product, as it was the only other one that impressed me when I tried their demos a few years ago. It wasn't terribly convincing at most things, but is more of a creative tool, and might also work well for certain instruments that don't tend to sample well, like koto, banjo, etc.
