I have a M-Audio FW410 interface, and I had a problem with BPM crashing all the time and clicks popping up in the playback. I at first thought this was just an extremely buggy release, but when I tried using the ASIO4ALL driver for my output device, it greatly improved performance, and after playing with it for 30 min-1 hour, it hasn't crashed yet. A quick google search will reveal a download site for the driver.
So far I think this program is excellent, cept for a few things here and there. Are there any talks yet of another update coming soon? With a few minor revisions, BPM will own so, so hard.
one thing that's helped with crashes and latency....

I can confirm this as well about the M-audio drivers and BPM. I have an Audiophile USB and switching to the ASIO4ALL driver greatly the CPU load at lower latency also. I found this to be true with both version 1.0.0 and 1.0.1.

This further reinforces my theory that the FireWire 410 is the worst audio interface ever built.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.
