Can i update the 2.1 DEMO to 2.2?

so i can check the bouncing to disk in DP6 without freezing first...
is it doable or will i "destroy" somehow my remaining demo days?

Don't think there's a 2.2 demo yet; check MOTU's downloads pages to be sure. Installing the proper version of MX4 will probably bash your demo period, so I wouldn't recommend it.
