Installation of MSI for Windows

OK, bought the software. Put the MSI.dat file on my hard drive. BUT the installation CD is a mystery. The manual says to open it up and double-click the "Installer" file. Instead there are a series of folders, two of which have a file called "Installer". Windows XP doesn't recognize any of them and doesn't know what application to use to open them.

But then I remembered there was an update download on the MOTU site. Downloaded that, installed the program, now it opens. BUT it doesn't recognize any sounds in the preset menu. Followed the directions to transfer the MSI.dat file to the Plug In folder of MOTU. Still nothing. Any ideas?

Same Problem here. AND the empty instrument crashes with exceptions in both standalone and vst mode. First contact with the Instrument combined with Cubase Studio 4....not happy. Hope this doesn`t take my Saturday time away.
