Hi
I have an old 1/4" tape deck that does not have audio output level pots.
Trying to record from the tape machine into DP through a 2408, and the input level is a bit too hot.
I COULD run the deck through a mixer, but I'd rather have the cleaner signal path of the tape machine straight into 2408.
Any way to trim the input level of the 2408 from within the software?
DP5, Mac OS 10.4.9
thanks
Audio input trim from within DP?

Not unless it's now set for -10 input level and could be changed to +4.
If running balanced outs from the deck, maybe pulling the trs plug out a little (at the 2408 in) to make it unbalanced will cut the level, though the input amp could still overload if that were a problem to begin with.
