Normally I'd expect a company to encourage that kind of "free advertising" and just give it away. Not sure what the rationale could be.

I think MOTU wallpaper is a great idea. I did a search when I first got into DP a few years back but had no luck so I kind of gave up on the idea. But hope springs eternal.

If I recall correctly, even TC Electronics/Werks has managed to slip 'em onto its install disks.

Guys, I am still working on it -- I have about 3 or 4 desktop images in the works. I wanted to do something great, but they may just be serviceable. I guess it is free, so you will get what you pay for!

Digging around tonight for some old MOTU manuals so I can do a tiling image of the old Unicorn logo.

Your work is appreciated! :) I think I'll still mail Magic and ask if we could have some representative wallpapers. Just imagine the day you'll be able to install DP6 and the DP6- textured wallpapers..that's like twice the fun!

Since I spend more time in Photoshop than DP, I figured that I would give it a try. I did a cooler one and one that's a little more DP5ish. There are two more included without the unicorn logo. They are sized to 1920x1200.

You can download them here: wallpaper.zip

Most excellent thanks a bunch :D

You should sent them to motu as a present.

I took a shot at it. Only spent about an hour so don't expect a masterpiece! haha

Went for something different than the above.
