Does the UltraLite really works with VISTA ?

Hi,

I'm trying to install the MOTU Ultalite on a portable PC running VISTA. It seems that only the Analog 1 and Analog 2 IN are working... Same in any audio app... Does anybody encountered the same problem?

did you try going to "sounds" in control panel and selecting "main outs" as your default playback device?

almost a year of running my Ultralite with Vista 64 here.

Thought I would jump in here and ask you guys: I am using 896HD w/ Vista 64bit and the Beta driver for large amount of RAM. Audio works fine except when I open a file, or IE, or Mozilla, or just about any program I use. Audio drops out for a second and then comes back. I am using Sonar 7 Pro and it works fine throughout. Just have that annoying dropout.

Intel Core duo 3.2 GHz
4 GB Kingston 667 KHz
WD 74 GB 10,000 rpm HDD for OS and Apps
WD 300 GB HDD for storage
NVidia 6800 series video
Intel mobo
Windows Vista 64bit

Any clues?

I notice you have a PCIe firewire card. Have you used Ultralite with the built in firewire on the Asus mobo?
