Hi all,

I just purchased ethno, installed it correctly but everytime I try to launch it it crashes. I have tried to open it in standalone, in Digital Performer 5 and Pro Tools 7.3.

I'm running a PowerPC G4 with 1.4 Ghz. Memory 1.5 GB Mac Osx 10.4.11

I unistalled it and tried again but with the same problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

similar problem with Vista and pactch 1.01 beta

Hi,

not to open a new thread, but i a had similar problems under Vista, witch won‘t help you obviously...

I installed a new ilok driver, ethno 1.01 beta patch (for Vista). Program starts standalone and as VST in cubase but crashes if i try to load single sounds, loding scenes (multi) works.

Any suggestions out there ? Is it a known problem ?

Any chance you're running on an old G4 hotrodded with a processor upgrade? I've read some reports of problems with that. I think it has something to do with the old video card in early G4s.

I am having similar problems with my PC running vista 32 I can get it to load from the scene folder but can't load individual instruments as the program crashes... it will open in my sequencer program (Orion Platinum)but crashes if I try and load instruments. I've updated to version 1.01 and installed the latest ilok drivers.

It will run on my laptop which is XP though I can't do much as the laptop isn't powerful enough.

Vista 64 here

Crashes again and again. I am a pretty well versed computer expert and get paid a hell of a lot of money to troubleshoot things like this and I am stumped. MOTU support is suggesting the strangest things (which I try anyways) and nothing works. This is what I get.
