There are loads of 4/4 samples. I am celebrating the Irish which sometimes leaves me a beat short. Any ideas? Manaual page or just trim it in Recycle?

I tend to either tigger it via MIDI or modify the soundbite in the Sequence Editor.

3/4 is easy - just don't hold down the key (or MIDI event) as long.

Now, doing 5/4 or 6/8 - THAT gets tricky!

I've never even listened to the loops, which is what I assume you're talking about. What is the advantage to using a loop vs. individual notes? Is it the articulation and the smoothness between notes, intermodulation, etc.?

I guess I'm getting so used to how organic some of my Kontakt-based libraries that make heavy use of KSP sound, that I had forgotten how static many sample libraries are. I've had such little luck with the Celtic portion of Ethno (I use it heavily but for other stuff so far) that I haven't really had a chance yet to hear how the note transitions sound in regular voice mode.

In loop mode, are the loops actually recorded in every key, or do they end up being audio-shifted to fit the MIDI trigger notes you give it?

I wouldn't think truncating a loop would work, as the turnaround likely would be happening on the final beat of each loop. Are there any tricks for slowing down the tempo mid-phrase if you need 5/4 (hold a note an extra beat in the middle)? Going from 4/4 to 3/4 would be harder.
