Cubase4, MTP AV USB and crazy fast MIDI Clock

I am wondering if anyone has experienced an issue with the tempo not being correcty output as MIDI clock (ie send the sequencer tempo as MIDI clock option to an outboard synth to sync it's tempo for an arpeggio).

My experience is that no matter what tempo Cubase4 is set at, the synths report a crazy fast tempo and play at their max speed (either effects timing or arps).

I'm pretty sure I am missing a setting or something in the MTP AV as it is the only device I've experienced this with. The unit is brand new and not used as well.

Any advice is much appreciated.
