MAC OSX 10.4.10 UPDATE ...NO ILOK RECOGNITION

Post by Eldgar »

This morning after my OSX was updated and tried to open D 4.5 along with SI it says no Ilok is found... but the Ilok is fine and the green light is lit.... Does anyone know why this is happening?

I've had it happen once or twice, but it generally sorts itself out after a reboot or two... with an added piece of advice: pull out the iLok and plug it in after the reboot. Ideally, pull out your iLok before doing the OS upgrade. There doesn't seem to be a definite problem either way, but it's good practice, and there do seem to occasionally be problems when the iLok is plugged in during an OS update. Better safe than sorry, so it's a good practice to get into.

No problems here, I have one iLok with MSI and Ethno licences.
iLok is in USB hub, have never taken it out for any updates. No problems so far. 10.4.10 here too.
