Ethno as a VST in Sonar 6

Hi Folks,
Ethno was working file for awhile as a VST in Sonar 6 then one day it decided to flash rapidly then dissolve to an unusable screen whenever I tried to activate it as a soft synth or insert it in the FX bin. Doesn't seem like an authorization problem because it works fine as an RTAS in ProTools, but not Sonar. I've uninstalled and installed, but the problem remains. Any ideas out there?
