I know that you can extract MIDI notes from a pitch automation track. But why not just as easily APPLY MIDI notes to a pitch automation track?
For example, take a track of singing (or speaking). Play a little melody on your keyboard. Now copy this melody into the pitch automation track for the singer.
What an easy way to get the singer to sing exactly the notes you want. Better yet, get a boring presidential speech and make him sing Bohemian Rhapsody!
