can K1 II share patches with K1?

I'm flirting with buying a used K1 rII but was
hoping that I could use my K1 patches on it.
Looked around on the web and couldn't really
find any information. Might anyone know?

The main difference between the two models is that the version II had reverb added. I think it also had the ability to play samples backwards. K1 patches will work in the rII.

Care to share you K1 patches?

Sure - I just have to get them off my ancient powerbook
and convert them from Galaxy Plus Editors to sysex. Once
I get to go on vacation I'm going to try and get this stuff out
of mothballs.

On a side note - got the K1 RII that I won but it was shipped
without any padding whatsoever. The rack tabs were completely
bent and it didn't come with an adaptor. 'Course since it's an
ebay transaction the seller is being completely uncooperative.
All in all a disappointing experience. I can't believe that someone
would ship a piece of electronic equipment without any padding!!!
