Interesting--
I'm going to put it on my laptop to check it out first, but I've heard odd things about the latest QT and iTunes on some towers... might hold off on my production computer for now.
10.4.9-- hmm. Kind of sad in a way-- the "end" of the Tiger era.

It will be interesting to read about what this "issue" is, but that it's audio related at all is encouraging.Matcher wrote:Areas of Change
- Fixed issue with CoreAudio and AudioConverter
It'd be nice to know what exactly has been fixed.

Can you tell me from where I can read about it? So far I haven't found anything.Frodo wrote:It will be interesting to read about what this "issue" is, but that it's audio related at all is encouraging.Matcher wrote:Areas of Change

Hi guys, I have installed OS X 10.4.9 on my G5 and DP 5.11 (and Pro Tools LE 7.3.1 / Peak Pro 5.2) seems cool. I installed the QT updater (ver 7.1.5 with QT Pro authorization) and that seems cool for DP also (there was a post the other day with a guy saying it has caused instability).

I didn't see any mention of this on either Apple's site nor Macintouch.com. Where'd you hear about these changes to core audio? (I'm a Presonus user so it's of interest to me..)Matcher wrote:Areas of Change

Aah... Unicorn-flavoured Guinea Pigs.
Just the ticket.
Watch 'em and weep... with joy that it's not you.
Unless, of course, you're watching you.
I'm watching you.
Er, after you, Guinea Pigs.
