A Beatles Virtual Instrument

Post by Frodo »

Wouldn't it be fun for Beatles Fans to have a virtual instrument dedicated to the sound of the instruments they used done by people who at least have some sort of official connection to the group?

So let me introduce to you the act you've known for all these years... Fab Four!

LOL!! Indeed, I failed to find one myself.

But if it's true that "fun is the one thing money can't buy", then I might have take a closer look at this once some demos go up on the site.

dogboy-- your avatar is a riot!!

I happen to know for a fact that "Revolver" was recorded with an Akai sampler and Dr. T on an Amiga. Look it up.

Oh, so *that's* how they got all those sounds on "Tomorrow Never Knows"... hmmm.

Leave it to Col. Chrispick for revealing the original recipe! :P

Funny you mention that track as it's probably the progenitor for all loop-based pop music. And what could be more DAW?

LOL. Clever observation, C.

Ironically, my favorite version of this song is among the takes where Lennon just sings it with his acoustic guitar.

What would a Beatles thread of any kind be without our friend OldG!!

Of course, you may own most of these instruments and would play everything live anyway.

That reminds me-- it's been years since I've seen 'Help!'. I think I'll put in the DVD and fall asleep on it presently.

The way you treat her, what else can I do?

Yes, if East West would only release it in musical wallpaper format as Magic Alex intended it!

I just sent the link to an absolute Beatle fan musician haha. $$

Speaking of that, I just spent a grand on VSL Symph strings and solo Strings so I'm worse than he is.

Misery loves company I guess.
