A Beatles Virtual Instrument
Wouldn't it be fun for Beatles Fans to have a virtual instrument dedicated to the sound of the instruments they used done by people who at least have some sort of official connection to the group?
So let me introduce to you the act you've known for all these years... Fab Four!

But if it's true that "fun is the one thing money can't buy", then I might have take a closer look at this once some demos go up on the site.

Oh, so *that's* how they got all those sounds on "Tomorrow Never Knows"... hmmm.chrispick wrote:I happen to know for a fact that "Revolver" was recorded with an Akai sampler and Dr. T on an Amiga. Look it up.
Leave it to Col. Chrispick for revealing the original recipe!

Funny you mention that track as it's probably the progenitor for all loop-based pop music. And what could be more DAW?Frodo wrote:Oh, so *that's* how they got all those sounds on "Tomorrow Never Knows"... hmmm.chrispick wrote:I happen to know for a fact that "Revolver" was recorded with an Akai sampler and Dr. T on an Amiga. Ironically, my favorite version of this song is among the takes where Lennon just sings it with his acoustic guitar.

Of course, you may own most of these instruments and would play everything live anyway.
That reminds me-- it's been years since I've seen 'Help!'. I think I'll put in the DVD and fall asleep on it presently.
The way you treat her, what else can I do?

Misery loves company I guess.
