Weird note shifting issues with MSI on Macbook Pro

Post by pockets745 »

This is going to be hard to explain, but is anyone having this happen. Let's say you're playing a run in D with a violin patch. You play D,E G, F#,D#,E,A,G#. Say around D5. What you hear is the third note (or 4th or any note) plays something completely different and random, sometimes a couple octaves below or above. This happens everytime I try to use this program, usually in Logic Pro. I had it installed on both my original Powerbook G4 15" 1.33 and now on my 15" MBP. Always current OS, always 2 gig ram, always fast 7200 RPM drive. The nots I play don't matter, it just happens on any part in any key, on any channel.

Running 1.1.3. LEt me know if anyone else has experienced this.
Thanks

That's never happened to me, but maybe I've never played just like you do (and I'm using DP, not Logic). If you find a run that consistently does this, save it as a Standard MIDI File and post it somewhere so we can download it & try it out.
"I don't see any method at all, sir."
