MX4 Audio Input..

Post by buck »

I cant hear anything sending a guitar through.. All else is working splendid.

Tech Notes says: "Note that the audio will only be heard when there is a MIDI note being received by MX4 (the amplitude envelope must be triggered for the audio to be heard)." Does this mean something like sending a signal like using an old gate?? Does it deal with "external Triggering"?? (pg 46) I dont get it..

It doesnt say anything about that at all in the "Audio Input" section in the lil' manual. it's just barely a paragraph..

Please pardon my lack of understanding.. thanks kindly ya'll.

It means you have to "play" MIDI to the MX4 to hear the sound pass through. With audio routed to MX4, record enable a MIDI track and hold down the keys.
