I'm running Ethno (no install problems, BTW) on Mac OSX 10.4.6 in ProTools 7.1 cs8. While I'm deeply appreciative of the sound and loop quality in Ethno, I'm having some occasional problems with loop syncing. Curious if anyone else has noticed these, found a fix, etc.
Specifically:
1. Almost every other time that I stop ProTools playback, one of the Ethno loops keeps playing.
2. Even though I've tried several points-in-time for placing the trigger MIDI note-on, I can't seem to come up with the right combination. I've tried "Next Note", "Next Bar" (which Ethno seems to sometimes forget) and many different placements of the trigger note (20, 50, 80, 100, 150 and 160 ticks prior to the beat so far). Occasionally, the loop fails to trigger. Since I trigger every 2-4 measures, this leaves a significant gap. Suggestions welcome.
Thanks. Have fun making music!

loop sync issues in ProTools
Here's what I did to fix my sync issues:
1. Change all the loops to "Immediate" (instead of Next Note or Next Bar like Stylus RMX uses -- what I'm used to)
2. Still had to restart ProTools for it to work.

P.S. The sound quality in Ethno is excellent.
