MSI versus Kontakt
What's the consensus? Are the symphonic sounds in Kontakt 2 better than MSI. I've heard some say they are, but I am unclear on the general view of this comparison.

Yes, yes, yes. Orchestral Library accompanying Kontakt2 is MUCH better than MSI library. It lacks organs, harpsicords and some other stuff but Kontakt2 Orch. sounds are based on VSL samples.anselm wrote:Are the symphonic sounds in Kontakt 2 better than MSI.
Also: Kontakt2 offers extensive programming features.
I am currently waiting for Kontakt UB to appear. Until that I am stuck with MSI only on my MacBook Pro.
