i'm diggin' the ethno
installation went perfectly. the .dat file on another drive no problems. it sounds great and i can now imagine what M52 is going to be like. if the UVI engine is like this it will be COOL!

A question - Does Ethno provide loops, as well as the single instruments used in the loops, that can be played via MIDI? It would be great to have exotic percussion loops, for example, but also the ability to add other parts, breaks, etc., with easy access via MIDI to the various instruments used in the loop.

i tried the old copy the .dat file and load it into M5 trick but no luck. the manual does say that it will work with M5II. as a matter of fact there is a lot of little mentions of mach V II in the manual. it seems that it may be worth the wait.

yes on the loops and yes on the MIDI instruments. no on the load up the loop and play the slices. as far i can tell it is just triggering the loop sample on differnt keys changing the pitch but not the tempo since it is locked to host tempo.
