I have just started using MSI.
Can anyone tell me how to set up the MIDI channels in Logic pro 7 to work with the 16 parts in MSI. At the moment my Korg Trinity Plus is sending all of its signals to MIDI 1.
Thanks.

MIDI Channels
I'll answer my own question as I have now worked it out.
In Logic I set up several tracks with the same instrument number but then changed each tracks MIDI designation to line up with the parts in MSI. e.g Logic MIDI 1 goes to MSI part 1, Logic 2 goes to MSI 2 etc.
I can see that if I want to have ensembles of similar instruements and tone this is fine but as I can then only adjust the individual E.Q. etc within MSI it limits how much sound correction can be done to each instrument. You can adjust in Logic as well but it acts Globally and changes all the tracks with the same instrument number at the same time.
If anyone knows of a different method of doing this please let me know.
