10.4.6???

Post by Frodo »

I don't use my laptop for major music production, except for maybe notation and limited DP usage. I tend to use my laptop to test certain kinds of software updates, particularly with OSX.

So, I recently updated to 10.4.6 and I've found apps running slower-- much slower than before--- Safari in particular.

Anyon else experiencing sluggish 10.4.6 behavior? :?:

Depending upon the wireless network I am on, I've noticed speed issues. But on an ethernet network all is well.

Excellent observation, Giles. I hadn't updated my tower, but my laptop w/Airport internet connection is shamefully clunky.

There are quite a few articles and remedies about this problem on Macfixit.com. Luckily I have not had this problem. I hope this helps.
